♥ New cadette Dela Rosa, Marie Jizelle, request permission to write! ♥ |
Sunday, July 02, 2006I survived another week again!!!!
Whew...
Well, this week was much more interesting than the first one...
It was more eventful in some way...
Last Tuesday, all seniors were oriented about the CAT. They told us everything one needs to know about joining. It was all very boring -- except for one reason.. the commandant. He looks uber queer. He's not that tall, probably just a few inches taller than me. He's got a dark complexion, tamang kayumanggi, with eyes that look super tired due to the massive bags under them. He has this huge, bulging belly that seems to have a life of it's own as it moves A LOT, and his throat seems to have a huge amount of phlegm in it as he makes a "gargling" noise everytime he opens his mouth to speak... his expressions are funny and grotesque at the same time. All in all, he reminds me of an oversized bull frog. You couldn't get more queer than that. Pero he's somehow funny naman so the orientation wasn't that boring. Later that afternoon, things got much, much more interesting. Yung crush ko kinausap ako!!!! AHAHAHAH!!! Kilig factor ever...heheh.. I don't want to go into the details, but really, it was super kilig. I went home that afternoon beaming - until I realized that it was pouring hard outside and I didn't have an umbrella. It was a mentos-popping-moment when I thought of asking my mom to call my brothers and ask them to fetch me at the gate. When I arrived at our subdivision, rain was pouring harder than ever but I had no choice but to go get out of the jeep. My brother was nowhere in sight and to make matters worse, the entrance to our subdivision was flooded!!!! I think that I lost all my mentos powers when I thought of calling my mom cause' I had to drain my shoes three times when I got to the guardhouse. My shoes were filled with only God knows what (yaaaaaak!!!) and my the ends of my uniform was dripping wet!!! Garabe talaga, first time kong lumusong sa baha!!!Pero thank God kasi wala naman akong nakuha na sakit.
*buntunghininga
Kahapon naman, nagenrol kami sa CAT. DANG HIRAP!!! To say that the officers were brutal would be an understatement. I messed up a lot, but I think others did worse kasi hindi ako masyadong napaginitan. When I was in stage one, I was so nervous that instead of saying "Mam yes Mam", I kept on saying "yes Mam yes", natawa nga sakin yung officer na nandun eh. Tapos tae, pinalo nya ko sa likod three times, ANLAKAS!!! Henakaw talaga. AYUSIN MO YAN!!!",ayun, I had to fix it and go back to the back of the line. Who Jasmine Balindong is, I have no idea. After that, I had to do 5 push-ups(pero tatlo lang ginawa ko kase hindi ako binantayan) and ten jumping jacks cause my tickler kept falling from my head. I also had to sing the CAT cheer about four times, pero isang beses ko lang sya nabuo kasi we had about 2 minutes to memorize it. Tapos nun, mejo madali nalang, yung mga officer kasi sa stage 4 parang pagod na pagod na, parang gusto na nilang matapos lahat. After saying "Sir, new cadette, Dela Rosa Marie Jizelle A., request permission to leave, Sir" for the last time, I was done. I ran for the locker room as if they were after my soul and just shouted in triumph. I finished the enrollment process without fainting or crying or getting bruised, which is more than I can say for other people, that's why it was such and achievement for me. Thank God choir ako, I don't have to through those things anymore after being enrolled.
School really is beating us up, tapos may mga problem pa sa bahay. Pero masaya narin ako at nandito ko at buhay pa, fighting. KAYA YAN!!!
Here's to inner happiness guys!!!!
