Monday, July 17, 2006Had to take a Lot of quizzes this past few days. Nakakapagod, pero okay lang, I'm just glad it's over.

That stupid physics test was so hard, my brain shut down the moment my service started moving. It was a twenty point, three-item, mind-numbing, pencil-chewing, head-scratching, ruler-throwing, protractor-breaking, sipon-inducing quiz. Madali lang yung graphical at component method eh. Sisiw. Pero yung analytical... ay
*&#@$&;(%^$@!!!!!!!!!! Dang hirap! Nakakainis. I was doing alright when I started answering the analytical part - or so I thought. After getting the resultant (which I was unbelievably excited about), I moved to the next step which was getting the direction. I hurriedly typed the input into my calculator... sin A times something divided by something... E. Isang malaking error ang sinagot sakin ng magaling kong calculator. Tae, Tinry ko ule, baka nagkamali lang ako - pero tae - error padin. Nagpanic na ko, nagsimulang maghisterical sa upuan ko. Ayos - nagbell na. Ala ng pag-asa. Sumuko na ko at nagpulbos. Buti na lang at naka fifteen pa ko. Yung sinumpaang direction lang na yun yung mali ko...
Hanggang ngayon ay hindi ko padin alam sagot dun, pero ala na kong pake.
*Math at ang negative at positive signs...
I had to take the second math quiz alone. I studied for it, but I guess not well enough because I only got ten out of twenty items. Nakalimutan ko kasi i-change yung signs nung iba nung nagtranspose ako. At yung iba, ewan, taglay na katangahan lang kaya mali. Kung inayos ko lang siguro yung test na yun, I got a higher score. Pero oki lang, bawi sa sunod.
*Quiz bee eliminations..
English: Sisiw. It was really easy for me cause most of the questions were from our third year book - which was where I concentrated on.
Filipino: Okay lang, di naman ako masyadong nag-aral dun eh, pero nine lang di ko nasagutan, at dalawa lang dun ang kinopya ko. Karamihan sa mga sagot ko intelligent guess lang, kaya kung makasama ko, swerti.
Social: Haha! Dang hirap, walo lang nasagutan ko out of thirty items, hula pa lahat yun. Okay lang, past is past - pun intended.
Okay, last Tuesday was very memorable. My brother got married!! Whoohoo!!! Plus, I got to wear my uber girlalu dress!!! So fetch. It wasn't a church wedding, it was a mass wedding held at the city hall of Las Pinas. When we got to the venue, there were already many brides and grooms there, but ate rona stood out immediately. She was without a doubt the prettiest bride there that day. The ceremony took a while, but it was all cute and sweet and I enjoyed myself. After the wedding rights, the mayor decided to sing a song for all the couples - which in my opinion, she shouldn't have done. The song was "how did you know" which made it much more torturous for me because I love that song. I mean, she must be a good mayor and all but she really should've left the singing to the pros. Anyway, the reception at Max's was okay. Ate Rona's friends were there and so was her family. We took a lot of pictures which I intend to post here pag sinipag ako. It really was a great day.
Right now, our class is focusing on the upcoming food demonstration and the jingle contest at school. Let's hope we do well...
